Non ero preparata all’impatto con ciò che avrei trovato. C’erano molte più “fattorie” di quelle che avevo scorto da lontano e gli stabilimenti erano ovunque, tra un appezzamento di terreno e l’altro.
Le strutture avevano proporzioni diverse a seconda dei lotti e in funzione dell’utilizzo. A sottolineare la serialità degli impianti c’erano numeri ordinali dipinti sui muri.
I was not prepared to the impact of what I was going to find. There were more factories than those I could see from the distance, as those establishments were everywhere, between a plot and the other. The structures had different proportions according to the lots and their use. To emphasise the amount of factories, ordinal numbers were painted on the walls.
