Cari Amici,
è con grande emozione che vi comunico la data del primo appuntamento da SEMI, che inaugura ufficialmente venerdì 10 luglio con un mio intervento performativo dal titolo:
365 Indicatori di Movimento per la pelle
Da tempo coltivo il rito del disegno quotidiano. Durante un seminario di Danza Sensibile in natura, tre estati fa, i disegni hanno iniziato a chiamarsi Indicatori di Movimento. Dal 3 agosto del 2017 al 29 luglio del 2018 li ho fotografati ogni giorno in un luogo per me simbolico e pubblicati sul sito www.silviadelgrosso.it e sul profilo Instagram @delgrosso.silvia accompagnando l’immagine con un breve racconto.
Ho immaginato che quei segni tracciati a penna sulle pagine bianche dei quaderni Moleskine Volant, si possano trasferire sulla pelle diventando tatuaggi.
Li sogno liberi, fuori dai quaderni, muoversi davvero in armonia con il corpo di qualcun’altro.
E che esista un piccolo gruppo di umani sul pianeta terra in relazione tra loro, partecipi di un frammento della mia vita. Ma prima di lasciarli andare, desideravo vedere gli Indicatori nell’ordine in cui si sono manifestati, per osservare il loro movimento collettivo, che è stato anche il mio, di qualche anno fa.
Finalmente posso dire di aver trovato la parete adatta dove poterli mostrare e osservare.
E’ sufficientemente vasta e l’ho resa magnetica, ovvero in grado di accoglierli senza danneggiarli né modificarli, grazie all’uso di piccole calamite. Ed è da SEMI, a Chiavenna in via Dolzino 101!
Venerdì 10 luglio, lungo il corso della giornata a partire dalle 7.00 del mattino, leverò i disegni dai quaderni, uno alla volta, e li appenderò alla parete. Non so calcolare la durata dell’azione performativa, che avverrà senza che io comunichi a parole con le persone presenti fino a che non avrò concluso l’opera.
Siete quindi invitati ad assistere e vivere con me la performance lunga intervenendo nel momento che più vi è congeniale e, dal giorno successivo, a vedere l’istallazione dei 365 Indicatori di Movimento esposti…
…e magari sceglierne uno da portare con voi sulla pelle.

It is with great emotion that I am announcing you the date of the first event at SEMI,
officially opening Friday July 10th, 2020 with a performance of mine titled:
365 Indicators of Movement for the skin
I have been practicing the ritual of drawing daily for a very long time. 3 years ago, during a retreat of “Danza Sensibile” (Sensitive Dance) held in a natural environment, I started to call my drawings Indicators of Movement. From August 3rd 2017 to July 29th 2018, I photographed each day one of them in a place that I considered symbolic and I published them on my website www.silviadelgrosso.it and Instagram account @delgrosso.silvia accompanied by a short story.
I imagined that the lines I marked with a pen on Moleskine Volant notebooks could be transferred on the skin, becoming tattoos. I dreamed of them being free, existing outside the notebook pages, moving harmoniously on someone’s body. I figured of a small group of human beings on the planet Earth being related to them, sharing a fragment of my own life on their bodies. But before letting them go, I want to see the Indicators in the precise order they came to me as an inspiration. I want to observe their movement, all together, as it represents my own one of a few years ago.
I can finally say that I have found the wall suiting them, to show and observe them properly. The wall is big enough and I made it magnetic, so that I can use small magnets to hang the body of work without modifying or damaging it. And the wall is in SEMI, in Chiavenna, at 101 Dolzino street!
On July Friday 10th, 2020 form 7 am on, I am taking one after the other the drawings out of the notebooks, fixing them on the wall. I can’t tell how long this performative action will take. I won’t verbally communicate to anybody attending, until this performance will be finished.
You are kindly invited to come, attend and live with me a fragment of this long performance, at the time you prefer. From the day after on, you are all invited to come and see the installation of the 365 Indicators of Movement exhibited. And… maybe you will choose one to wear on your skin.
